How to Apply the Bagua Map

1. Get your home’s floor plan.

If you don’t have an official one, sketch a simple version showing all the rooms, keeping proportions as accurate as possible.

2. Find the energetic center of your home.

Identify the geometric center of your layout – this will match with the energetic center of the house.

3. Use a compass to find North.

With either a physical compass or a mobile app, locate magnetic North within your actual space.

4. Draw a circle from the center.

On your floor plan, draw a circle using the center point as your reference.

5. Divide the circle into 8 equal parts (like slices of a pie).

Start from any dividing line between two directions — for example, the line between North and Northeast (22.5º). From there, draw 8 equal 45º sections using a protractor or ruler.

6. Label each section with the appropriate degrees, directions, and corresponding life areas.

Use the Bagua reference image to align everything correctly.

How to Activate Each Area

You can activate each life area — like prosperity, health, or relationships — by introducing the associated element into that sector. This can be done through materials, shapes or colors.
